Man arrested after stabbing in Bristol
BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) - A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Bristol.
According to police, on March 9th, they responded to 146 West Street for a domestic disturbance.
Officers determined through victim and witness statements that one party involved in the disturbance was choked and defended themselves by stabbing the attacker.
The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Kevin Ricks, fled the scene after brandishing a firearm in front of witnesses toward the victim.
He was located within hours and deemed no longer a threat to the victim or the public.
He is charged with criminal possession of a pistol/revolver, 3rd degree assault, 2nd degree threatening, 2nd degree strangulation, possession with intent to sell narcotics, and 2nd degree breach of peace.
