Big Send-Off Set: Gould getting ‘royal’ treatment

BRISTOL — Residents will have a chance to meet Brian Gould and wish him farewell on his last day as police chief this Friday.

The Bristol Police Department announced there will be a meet-and-greet with the outgoing chief from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of City Hall at 111 N. Main St. The event is open to the public. Following the meet and greet, at 2:45 p.m., the public is invited to gather in front of the Bristol Police Department and City Gall sidewalks as Gould passes by the department for the last time. He will be receiving a police escort to the city limits.
