BRISTOL — Members of the Bristol Police Department saluted, hugged and gave thanks to outgoing Police Chief Brian Gould Friday before he received the traditional sendoff -- a parade farewell escorted by fellow officers in their official vehicles.
Gould was given a cake along with a proclamation from Bristol city leaders and the key to the city on Friday prior to the parade.
