Crimilda Torres-Rubert

Crimilda Torres-Rubert, 78, of Bristol, widow of Jose A. Rubert, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. Crimilda was born on December 17, 1945 in Utuado, Puerto Rico and was a daughter of the late Angel Luis and Ernesta (Martinez) Torres. Crimilda is survived by two sons: Jose Antonio (Marilyn) Rubert and Jose Manuel Rubert; a daughter: Ana Rubert; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers: Aristedes and Hector Torres; four sisters: Aida, Luz Maria, Ana and Nereida Torres. She was also predeceased by a brother Simeon Torres.
The visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 10 to 12 Noon at The Pentecostals of New Britain Church, 517 Farmington Ave, New Britain. A service will follow at 12 Noon in the church. A private burial will take place at a later date in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol has the honor of serving Crimilda’s family.
