Felicia Yetke Obituary

Felicia Emily (Santos) Yetke, beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend, was tragically taken from this Earthly life on February 2, 2024 at the age of 36.  Known for her bubbly personality and infectious laughter, she truly brightened our world.

She was born on October 13, 1987, the only daughter of Silvestre and Stephanie (Henry) Santos, and was raised and educated in Bristol, graduating from Bristol Central High School in 2005.  Her hard work ethics, strength and determination were evident in every aspect of her life.  She spread joy to others as a server at Abigail’s in Simsbury for the past few years, and, prior to that was a familiar face at Mama Lukes in Farmington.   As an active and dedicated individual, she found solace in running and exercise, pushing herself to new limits and inspiring others along the way.  A proud member of the Peloton community, she treated herself to live classes at their New York studio on her birthday each year.  Beyond her own personal pursuits, Felicia was a loving and selfless mother. Her children were the center of her universe, and she would go to great lengths to ensure their happiness and well-being, embracing every opportunity to create treasured memories with them.

Felicia possessed a keen eye for decorating and a talent for crafting. Her ability to transform a space into a warm and inviting sanctuary was truly remarkable. Her friends could always count on her for creative advice and inspiration.  A kind and loyal friend, she had a heart filled with empathy, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, and leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering devotion.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband and soul mate of 15 years, Kyle David Yetke and her pride and joy, her sons, Carson and Caleb.  She also leaves her cousins who were the closest she had to siblings, R.J., Tony and Kevin Anderson, Andrew Clark and Jennifer Vamvakides; her mother and father-in-law, David and Cheryl Yetke; many aunts and uncles and a wide circle of friends.

Though Felicia's presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Just as she gave in life, she gave the gift of life to others as an organ donor.  May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she made a lasting impact on all those whose lives she touched.
