Barbara Zaharevich, 86, of Bristol, came to rest on Monday, February 19, 2024. She is reunited with her daughter Linda and granddaughter Heather Lin. Barbara was a beloved wife and mother who was devoted to her family.

Barbara leaves her husband of 67 years, William Zaharevich of Bristol, four daughters, Laura Gibson of Farmington, Lisa Zaharevich of Bristol, Leslie Marques and her husband Nelson of East Granby, Leigh-Ann Zaharevich of Colorado, grandchildren Daniel Zaharevich and his wife Diana, April Gibson and Tyler Marques and great-grandchildren Roman and Isla.

She and her husband Bill spent 7 years building houses for Habitat for Humanity, while traveling to all 49 states. Their travels blessed them with long-lasting memories and friendships.

Barbara loved the beach, playing cards, going for rides, exploring the road less traveled and being with friends and family. Barbara was loved by many, as she always expressed love and kindness to all she knew.

Barbara’s footprints in the sand may have washed away, but her impact on our hearts will remain forever. She will be profoundly missed.
