Lynda L. Roy

Lynda Roy, 78, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024, at UConn Medical Center. She was born in Bristol to Frances and George Bumps.

Lynda was a beloved mother, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. Throughout her life, Lynda was a dedicated care giver, tending to both her mother, father and husband until they passed away. She found joy in being social, crafting, and above all, cherishing her family.

Lynda had a passion for creating amazing quilts, and her enthusiasm for life was infectious to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lynda will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jo-Anne Solomon, her sisters Jacquline Sheehan of Burlington and Norma Galoppi of Meriden, as well as her niece Kerry Tomala and husband Mike Tomala of Harwinton, nephew Thomas Galoppi and wife Sandy Galoppi, of Meriden, niece Nancy Stevens of Meriden, sister-in-law Rose Menard of Southington and nephew Todd and wife Andrea of Cromwell.
