West End Cleanup Day
Date: Sunday, May 21, 2017 (Event Views: 1,524)

West End Cleanup Day

May 21 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This Sunday, May 21st at noon, is the annual West End cleanup day. Once a year, the West End Association gets together and goes up and down the streets of the West End picking up garbage, trimming back weeds, planting flowers in those concrete planters, and doing anything else they can do to make the streets look a little nicer.

They start at the intersection and the more people they get to participate, the farther they can go.

Meet at 12 noon at the Southside Meat Market at 145 West St.

Water and cheap gloves are provided and you could bring better gloves if you have them. Any yard tools you have are also useful, but more than anything – willing volunteers are needed. Just show up.

If anyone needs community service hours, this event qualifies and Dave Hamelin can sign something for you.

See you Sunday!
