The Bristol Blues season kicks off on Thursday, June 1st at Muzzy Field. Join us for our 2017 Season Opening Day.

There will be fireworks after the game!

Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Museum After Hours: Magnificent Carousels of Connecticut

Join scholars and experts as we learn about the art and history of carousels, their carvers, the artists, and your favorite carousels. Museum After Hours will be held from 6:30-7:30 PM with a wine and cheese reception taking place 6:00-6:30 PM. Admission to this series is included with general admission, and as always museum members are free.

Join us as Museum Subject Specialist Cate Mahoney discusses Connecticut's rich carousel history including the three antique wooden operating rides, the Bushnell Park Carousel, Lighthouse Point Park, and Lake Compounce. In addition, Lake Quassy Amusement Park, and Sound View Beach will be discussed.
