3rd annual Wine, Women & Watches event at the Clock Museum

On Thursday, September 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm., the American Clock & Watch Museum will host its third annual “Wine, Women & Watches” fundraiser. Guests will enjoy wines by Beringer Vineyards, hors d'oeuvres by Inspired Catering, and delicious desserts. This year’s party will include the popular silent auction, prize drawings, and a scavenger hunt through the museum’s eight galleries. This annual event is a great time--all while raising funds to support the museum’s education programs, collections, and exhibitions!

Don’t miss out on this fabulous event! Mark your calendar for September 12th to join in the fun!

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at www.clockandwatchmuseum.org/events until August 30th or by calling the museum at (860) 583-6070. After August 30th, please call the museum directly. Please note that space is limited and tickets are going fast, so don’t delay!

United Way "Shoes with Heart" Collection

Continues through Oct. 9, 2019
Donate your gently worn shoes, sandals, work boots, ballet shoes, sneaks and cleats. All men's, woman's and children shoes accepted.
Shoes will be re-purposed to other organizations locally and abroad through a non-profit group. The monies raised by United Way of West Central CT will support programming and initiatives on health, education and financial stability in the region we serve, Bristol, Burlington, Plainville and Plymouth.

Drop off at United Way office, 440 No. Main St., Bristol, Senior Centers in Bristol, Burlington and Plainville, Thomaston Savings Bank, Farmington Ave. and Middle Street branches, Creative Kitchen & Bath Design, Burlington during business hours.
