New at Manross Library– Join us for coffee or tea in a welcoming atmosphere, as we enjoy relaxing back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S. The goal of this program is to practice speaking English. Conversation is the best way to improve your spoken English.
Library Staff Member Halyna Jacobs will lead the group. There are no grades, no judgment. (This is not an ESL class.) All are welcome to attend! Get ready to step back in time, folks! The Greatest Gatsby Party is making a grand comeback at the Carousel Museum in 2023, and it’s going to be the bee’s knees! We’re pulling out all the stops for an unforgettable night of champagne bubbles, delectable cupcakes, and all the Jazz Age fun you could dream of!
Dance the night away to the toe-tapping tunes of the Al Fenton Big Band! And don’t forget, BYOB is encouraged – so come prepared to raise a glass to the roaring ’20s!

Tickets can be purchased online for your convenience.
The swanky soirée kicks off at 7:00 PM, with a delightful spread of sweets, cheese, crackers, and prosecco awaiting your arrival! And while we adore vintage costumes (they’re highly encouraged), they’re not required – just come ready to party Gatsby-style!
